Frank rescues Lila and they reconcile.

She quits her job. Chad tracks her down and claims he loves her, but she feels nothing for him. However, she now knows “the fire, the longing” she felt when she first kissed him “hadn’t been bad! They had been part of growing up!” Ivy returns to Walter now that she is “a woman at last!”
