Loaded with World War Two references which don't mesh very well with the funny animals. One story is drawn by "Sag" aka Bud Sagendorf, later the long-time Popeye artist.

The facial expressions of Nutsy Squirrel are virtually identical to those of Jim Woodring's Frank. Too close to be coincidence, I'd say. I've got your number, Mr. Woodring.
