Nice back cover by Ron Broadley. The book suffers from the "true comics" handicap of having too many events reduced to illustrated captions. However it's quite enjoyable and boasts good art. Especially Peter Chapman, who seems to know he's the best in the book, as he signs every page! I'd like to see more of these. One thing I've never understood: given the close quarters, lack of privacy, and the wear and tear of life at sea, how did a female deck hand manage to conceal her gender for any length of time?
