At least 3 of the artists are credited with military rank: "Sarge," "Sgt. O'Brien," and "Sgt. M.P. Filchock." The latter is almost certainly comic book artist Martin Filchock who did a lot of work for Centaur in the pre-WWII era. Bails indicates his immediate post-war work was mostly in the gag cartoon field. Also, the last two cartoons are credited to "Privates," with their name & town/branch of service listed--wonder if this mag solicited submissions from servicemen?
