I chose the Rex Dexter Collection because it was the least viewed of the Science Fiction compilations, instead of jumping straight to the more popular ones. Sort of a way to work my way up to the 'best' of this Golden Age genre. I've been reading the stories off and on for a couple of weeks, and I am constantly surprised at how good they are. The stories are snappy, the action fast-paced, the villains clear cut, and that's exactly what I was looking for, as a way to pull me away from the daily grind for a little while. The one thing I would have liked was a little more action from Rex's sidekick / love interest, but that's a minor quibble. Overall, I feel these stories are as good as the Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon serials I've read before, or heard on Old Time Radio. Thanks to FraBig for putting this compilation together. I'd rather read one character's stories straight though, than have to follow four or five different characters in every issue. Great job!
