NotesCLIMAX ALL AUSTRALIAN COMIC was published by K G Murray Publishing in (probably) 1947. It’s a one-off anthology title, and K G Murray used the word ‘Climax’ particularly to flag its all-Australian (Murrays published a lot of reprints of American comics, after the WWII era import ban was lifted). In this, we have humour and adventure stories, often with a science fiction style. There’s a story with an Aboriginal character, it’s humorous and a bit racist, though fortunately it isn’t malicious in its racism. Creators are Hart Amos, Noel Cook, Jim Borella Smith and Anton Weitzen.
