I can't get the thing to upload to the FTP, but pretty soon Aussie should be uploading my scan of CAPTAIN MARVEL ADVENTURES #27.  I'm back on the case, gang.

Thanks, Aussie!  And as soon as you get it, I'm sure you'll upload COMICS NOVEL #1 (Anarcho, Dictator of Death) which I just did today.  Keep 'em flying!

cool. I've wanted to read Anarcho for myself ever since reading about it in Steranko's History of Comics back in the mid 70's.  Great share.

Thank yez.  I don't know if they ever revived Radar or not (he might have cameoed in POWER OF SHAZAM after I quit reading it), but in his day he did x-over with both Captain Marvel and the Phantom Eagle.  Fawcett heroes crossed over so much you'd think they were in the 60's Marvel Universe or something. ;-)

If I were to send scans in a jpeg would you be able to transform them to the .cbz files for the site?
Thanks.

I'd bet that you could do it yourself easier than you can e-mail the source files.  A CBZ file is just the JPEG or GIF image files in a ZIP archive, renamed.  CBR is a RAR archive, in case you were curious.

(Exception:  CDisplay and other comic readers use a slightly different sort order on the images than Windows does.  Windows tries to be smart and so it displays file3.jpg before file10.jpg, because 3 is less than 10.  More "naive" software, like CDisplay, puts them in the other order, because 1 is less than 3.  The take-home point is that you should make sure that every image file's name starts the same way and pads the page number with zeroes.)

Rez:  Not sure what you mean.  Are you talking about sending the whole fiche as one scan, or broken down into individual page scans?  If you have stuff I don't, let's talk about it.

Today I uploaded two Police Comics and two Wow Comics to the FTP.  I'm not sure what we don't have here, Aussie, so I'm going to have to sort thru things before I post the rest.  Thanks.  You can up all four of those issues to the site.

OK, crew.  Went and uploaded a big buncha Captain Marvel stuff to the FTP.  Not going to detail it all, but you can have at it, Aussie.  Hope you enjoy it.  And BTW, that's not really Spy Smasher #11 in our share...that's Spy Smasher Mighty Midget Comics #11.  I'll get the last two Smashers done a few books from now.
