Rating/Voting problem
« on: August 13, 2012, 04:52:14 AM »

Sorry, but I found a problem with the rating/voting system.  First of all, there's nothing to show if you've voted on a comic or not.  Second, it lets you vote multiple times on the same comic--I tested it with Quality Comics/Ken Shannon #2, which I was sure I had already voted on, so you can remove a vote from it to keep it accurate and me honest!

You are pretty spot on and the coincidence is I was looking at this yesterday. The voting bit uses IP address to stop you voting more than once, not a unique user ID. So if you have a fixed IP address or are still using the same one as when you voted it will tell you no. But another machine or a reassigned address and you can vote again.

I have put it on my list of things to do :)

Okay, thanks.  I check this site from both my home computer and work computer, so that would explain how I could vote again.
