Resuming in 1947 with only one 132p issue of the title, consisting entirely of Fawcett's Funny Animals including several Hoppy the Marvel Bunny stories. resuming again in 1949, the final four issues of this series are all 196-pages long, with a randomized selection of Fawcett comics published during the year; these were stripped of their covers, trimmed and rebound under a new cover; they are notable for having a velvet effect applied to the covers.
On #4 and #6 it's applied to the title and Santa Claus's costume; It's present on the Christmas tree of #5 and applied to the Christmas stocking held by Captain Marvel on #7, the final issue
