SynopsisLooking for a nice warm locale to rest, Gorgo and his mother head to Cuba. Gorgo battles a gigantic squid and during the fight enters an underwater cay on Turtle Island where he stumbles upon Soviets building nuclear missiles. He angrily destroys them. Later a Soviet sub blasts Gorgo with depth charges causing him to destroy another one of their nuclear installations. Gorgo inadvertently helps end the Cuban Missile Crisis.
