Really great stuff ! I chased all over my hometown trying to find these when I was a kid.

The story for "The Well in the Desert" borrows from the 1943 film "Sahara" with Humphrey Bogart. As an aside, in the early 1970s I bought 2 pages of original art at a comic con (on the last day, when dealers had slashed prices) for $1.50 a page (I think). One of them was from "The Well in the Desert." I notice that another page from the story sold for $354.00 in 2021: I wonder if some other lucky person made a nice return on their investment after 50 years.
