A hidden gem from Charlton's waning days. While I have great admiration for Jim Aparo's more realistic DC artwork, I'll always have a soft spot for the unique, stylized approach he used in these Charlton stories. |

This story has a sequel in Space Adventures vol 2, number 2. Well worth seeking out, with artwork by Aparo, Boyette, and Ditko. |

Synopsis | The alien shows Paul through his ship then reveals that it is actually a time machine, and that he has come from Earth's future to try and change the actions in 1967 that will lead to a terrible war. An enemy ship arrives from the future and Paul and his new friend evade it by going back to 1964 and entrapping the enemy in the midst of the first hydrogen bomb test in the Bikini Atoll. Paul is then returned home and promises to do what he can to help avert the future war. |
