When the school administration finds out, they expel her. Over Bob’s objections, Sally runs off with Nick and they begin a life of crime. Nick is killed during a robbery and Sally is sent to prison. |

Doris learns the perfume is stolen and when Andy and chemist Arthur team up to produce counterfeit perfume, she protests but her love for Andy compels her to agree to the scheme. They branch out to supplying drugstores with the fake scents as well. However, gangster Marco tries to take over the racket and everyone is arrested. Andy and Doris are sent to prison, but hope to start an honest life together when they are released. |

Synopsis | Receptionist Linda meets Keith when he performs some work for her firm. They become friends but Keith rejects her attempts to become closer. Linda goes to gloomy Harkness Hall where he lives with his grandmother, and is invited to spend a few days there. Keith later explains that the men in his family have always reacted badly to “the curse of woman’s infidelity” (his own father committed suicide). Neighbor Tommy tries to kiss Linda and Keith decides to kill himself, but when it’s proven that Tommy’s advances were unwanted, Keith and Linda decide to marry and live happily ever after. |
