Phil arrives but steps aside because he thinks Laura loves André. On the night of the premiere, a fire breaks out in the theatre; André proves he’s a coward but Phil rescues Laura and she realizes she loves him. |

Steve proposes marriage but asks Stella first to plead with a witness against him in an upcoming case: Stella finds the man dead and is arrested for murder. Don proves Steve killed the witness himself and he and Stella reconcile. |
