You'd think these aliens would have learned by now not to come to Earth. At least he wasn't from Venus! Kim L. Neidigh

NotesGiordano credit per Nick Caputo, December 2012. Previous indexer credited Steve Ditko.
From Steve Bissette's blog: "That’s most definitely the work of Dick Giordano, who told me so himself back in 1977 (when I asked him after class at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, Inc)".

Comic StoryThe Creature from Corpus III / Gorgo (20 pages)
SynopsisKoorII, a 15 foot tall humanoid frog alien from the planet Corpus III, comes to Earth with hopes of conquering it. His home world is drying up and his people need an aquatic world to live on. He witnesses Gorgo and his mother come ashore on a Chinese island where they decimate a Chinese military base. Koorll believes he can control the Gorgos to help him exterminate Earthlings. The Gorgos don't respond to his telepathic commands. When KoorII attempts to kill a nearby paleontologist in a diving suit named Dr. Mason (who was observing the Gorgos), Gorgo grabs KoorII and crushes him in his hand.

NotesFollows '"Gorgo's Revenge" (1962) which is essentially the issue #1 of this spinoff series. This issue was published around the time Gorgo #13 was published.

Dr. Emory Mason deduces that Gorgo's species went extinct before the dinosaurs appeared.

The reason the Gorgos attack the Chinese military base is because they were accidentally hit by a nuclear bomb they were testing.

Gorgo saves Mason from a giant squid earlier in the story which is why he saves him from KoorII.

Text StoryThe Past Present (2 pages)
SynopsisA new camera is developed that allows video of the past to be played. This proves that "John Rotter" killed in cold blood not self defence. "Leonard Liar" cheated on his fiancee "Margaret Moneybags". And in a bit of history from 1877, "Colonel Henry Higgins" didn't bravely defeat Chief Bearnum and his Sioux braves in battle. He won a poker game against him.
