NotesIssue no. 2 of Amalgamated Press' twice-monthly story paper from 1919. A total of 57 issues appeared between April, 1919 and July, 1920 when the title was changed to Nugget Weekly. Nice to see two full-page illustrations as part of the story as well. Though Aldine's two series preceeded it, this Amalgamated venture was an excellent addition to the Hood genre and a foreshadow of their future interest in various comic story series.
