In the hospital, Dick says her doesn’t care that she’s “crippled.” However, as it turns out, the doctor says “we’ve re-examined your leg and think we can cure it.” |

She dates lawyer Henry, but even he “makes fun of [Linda’s] work.” Linda designs a new factory and clashes with construction boss Mike, but eventually they become friends. Linda breaks up with Henry when he forbids her to see Mike again. Mike warns Linda that a change in her design is dangerous but she goes ahead with it and the building collapses. Mike lies to save Linda’s license and they are reunited. |
