| Synopsis | Doreen is courted by bank clerk Terry and by wealthy Calvin but marries Terry. Doreen’s mother falls ill and the newlyweds can't pay for her treatment. Calvin loans Doreen the money. Terry is arrested when $500 is missing from the bank, and Doreen fears he stole it for her. She goes out with Calvin but he makes improper advances. Terry is cleared of suspicion and released from jail. Doreen confesses the truth about Calvin, and Terry forgives her because he’s also gotten a loan from the bank to pay her aunt’s medical bills. |
