| The Acey-Duecey story in American Air Forces #4 looks a lot like John Severin. Any other guesses? |

| I couldn't find any listings for Severin in the databases dated earlier than 1948. This came out in 1945...but I can sure see the Severin look, especially in the inks. Experts out there? |

| Severin claimed his first published comic book work was in 1947. So who the heck did this? BTW, he served in the South Pacific during the war. Maybe sent this story in from the front? |

| If we look at the bottom of our page 9, We see that the Black and White painted work is signed 'John Severin' 'Acey-Deucey' is unquestionably Severin.
Explanation? [rfer to the previous posts] Work done while in the service for military publication and later reprinted here?
