Episodes one and two written and drawn by Will Eisner, episode three written by him. And it's all downhill from there...
This massive collection (only part 1 of 2 and even THEN still not complete!) of a character whose creation circumstances were far more interesting than the character itself was crying out of a more finished presentation, so I added a cover and a one-page piece on the background info. Take it or leave it.

Thanks SteveD. I hope you like part 3....Still not complete though,....we will get there one day as with the others whose stories are still missing. Ugh! EH? Anyway it will be awhile assembling the Big 4 (The Beetle has a ton of stories and still not complete [Fox version only] and also the Green Mask and Domino (sometimes) both versions of the character and of course Samson and David. But as of now I am working on the Flame (& Flame Girl). Good job though my friend.

So I appreciate the upload but let's face it Steve, it went downhill on the cover already, with a half-arsed choice of 'Yarko' a ridiculous mockery of a Slavic-sounding name for our protagonist. And to be honest, if that's Eisner in the episode 1 he must have been either in his teens or uh, drawing under influence or something, it's just terribad, no two ways about it. No doubt it's interesting for Eisner's most devoted followers but yeah, this comic is just a waste of paint and paper it was printed on.

Not a waste of paper, more, an important piece of comics history as Mr. Eisner had to start somewhere. Taken against a lot of GA comics, this is no worse nor better than many othe examples.
The folk who put these comps together for the benefit of all on CB+ deserve credit for their efforts.
I asked Mr. Eisner about his early work and he was sanguine about much of it. Watching a master learning, Improving and learning his craft is fascinating.
My opinion of this comp? Enjoyable and an insight. And many, many thanks to the late and sadly missed Mr. goldenage.
