NotesBlack and White with four 8.5" X 11" pages, this pressbook was for a 1966 re-release of 1941's The Adventures of Captain Marvel. Designed to capitalize on the camp craze sparked by an earlier re-release of Columbia's Batman and Batman and Robin serials, which had in turn led to the hit Batman TV series, Republic's attempt fared less well at the box office. Perhaps because it was too good to be 'camp'.
