I picked this up from Random 12, attracted by the traditional ‘distressed blonde in red dress’ cover – how could I not? Mind you, he is a bit scary! The Swamp Horror seemed prescient on the day I discovered that some University of Vermont professors have developed organic robots from frog spawn – a bit like slime mould, I guess - gee, what could possibly go wrong with the creation of self-programmable slime? Nice crisp pencils from Harry Harrison. Beware reminds me of the long-running German comic book Gespenster Geschicten (Ghost Stories) which ran from 1974-2006.
