| Absolutely amazing to see Frank Frazetta's original art. It's surprising how light (greyed-out) his brushwork is. I heard years ago that FF watered his ink down to make the long sweeping strokes easier. That certainly seems to be the case here. The engravers must have gone nuts trying to shoot usable negatives. The printed results are surprisingly good though the simplistic color detracts from the art. |

| Yeah, I’m definitely compelled to praise Frazetta’s work more after seeing details like his nuanced shading on his original art, as opposed to seeing the final product in which the coloring (and maybe the inking) seems to have somehow made the pages look less dramatic compared to the original art. |

| Also, Bill Everett‘s art of Chuck here is similar to Namor’s face. Haha. |
