Any idea who produced this booklet for Penney's?
   By jrasicmark
I don't know who might have produced this for J.C Penney, but there does appear to be some kind of tiny logo that I can't quite make out at the bottom of the 3rd page (though the page number on it is 6, and technically, it's the first page since we don't traditionally count the cover and inside front cover). Maybe someone with younger eyes can read the logo? It might only be a J.C. Penney logo, though. The timing of finding this posted here is kind of appropriate considering I just saw a commercial for J.C. Penney that said they're celebrating their birthday. I also have to say it's ironic that a comic book titled, "Who Said That?" leaves us asking, "Who produced that?" ;)

I believe that's just the printer's union label. The image resolution isn't good enough to read it. [Later addition]: According to the GCDB this is one of seven comic-style booklets Penney's published between 1947 and 1953. The art is by Sam Glankoff.
