Notes"The artist is Rodney Sutton. He was a very prolific contributor to girls’ titles. He also had a very distinctive and original style, although you would never know it from the work he does for these early PLs. It seems that at this time AP/Fleetway wanted a fairly standardised style for its girls’ comics, and Sutton wasn’t the only artist who had to tone down his natural originality to conform to the house style." Nice artwork here. I wish someone would compile a list of SPL artists as they've done for the war and Thriller libraries. The story is typical SPL stuff. Some psychologist should analyze the girls' comic writers' obsession with wicked father-daughter and uncle-niece teams. This time around even Mom was in on it. I confess I was rooting for Rover the spaniel to administer the coup de grace. He got iced out of the finale, poor thing.
