NotesJET BLACK 5 by Terry Trowell was published by Modern Magazines in 1957. Terry Trowell is better known as the creator of the Grey Domino. Both the Domino and Jet Black are racing car drivers. Trowell fascination with racing led to realistic depictions of established racing tracks in the comic. For your gaming pleasure, the back cover is a board game, but you’ll need to provide your own dice and pieces.

Some notes on Terry Trowell: After serving in the Australian Army in WWII, Trowell studied art in France before returning to Australia. He worked creating advertising art, and joined Atlas Publications to create the Grey Domino, and took over Ghost Rider. He also became the art director of Modern Magazines, writing and drawing their range of comics (Jet Black, True Western, and the Purple People Eater, a one-shot based on a popular novelty song). After comics, Trowell continued to work in senior art direction position in advertising agencies.

How did they get that on the air in 1957? Just glad that they did. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, ( I'm used to it.) but is not 'Jet Black' an ink colour? Thanks Dan!
