NotesStory art is by A E Allen. A brilliant and prolific girls' comics artist, who did a lot of first-class work for Fleetway and DC Thomson titles, and was active well into the 1980s. But as is so often the case, it seems that nothing is known about him/her other than the name. He/she had a great flair for grotesque caricature, which was given a lot more scope in later publications, but you can see something of it here in the Nazi villains. I/D and info by Goof.
