NotesCRIMSON COMET 17 (2nd series) by John Dixon was published by Action Comics in 1956. This issues features two Crimson Comet stories. By this time, Dixon has updated the Crimson Comet’s costume, so that it has a black headpiece rather than the earlier crimson version. This looks more dynamic, especially on the colour covers.

While it's not obvious from the cover, there's some quite extensive sticky tape repairs to the cover, especially the top left corner. You can see the staining that this causes on the inside covers (front an back).
