Just found out that the Mask stories were originally supposed to be for the Black Bat, but they had to reach an agreement with National. |

There's a name on the bottom of page 25 (The Mask). Would it be that art isn't entirely Raymond Thayer's? |

That's Kin Platt's signature. Perhaps the art is his. I don't know either artist well enough to opine. |

I own a copy of this issue with an undamaged, fully saturated cover and would be happy to email you a high quality image of it. The interior pages seem nicer too, but I can't see myself spreading the book flat for fear of major damage to the spine etc...
You guys have just about everything covered but I feel like maybe I could offer this improvement.
