Adele refuses to have the operation until Curry romances her, since she doesn’t want him to be “burdened by a blind wife!” Curry backs out because he really loves Adele so Ken performs the operation. The operation apparently fails and Ken tries to commit suicide, wounding Curry when he intervenes. Adele’s vision returns, she learns the truth, and reunites with Ken. |
