Synopsis | Wealthy Howard and Rita are a couple, as are gypsies Ivor and Tanya. The latter are hired to perform at Howard’s engagement party; reading his palm, Tanya predicts Howard won’t marry Rita, but will instead fall in love with a gypsy girl. Afterwards, Howard learns the gypsies stole from his guests. He tracks down Tanya but they fall in love. The other gypsies rob Howard’s house; Tanya saves his life and Howard proposes marriage to her. |
