Hey Skull Lady, I'm Baaaack. Or should I say ROXANNE? HA HA the cat's outta the bag, it may be a DEAD cat from a BODY bag, but still. So, Roxy, it's funny I find out that you're a Roxanne, since I (SNIF!) had a falling-out with "my dear sweet Roxanne Starr" who I mentioned in my one and only romance comics review a while back. So in the story "LOVE ME FOREVER!" (art by Kenneth Landau) I see that you were a beauty and a cutie being pursued by a guy named Pierre Fabron, who in failing to arouse your interest (well we ALL know it's ME you loved, even back then before I was born) went to the local conjure woman to get a love potion, and guess what? IT WORKED! Even after he got sick of you and drowned you, you came back and stuck to him like glue, until - well, we'll let the readers here get to that bit. the other three stories, "Charar's Prey", The Drakko", and "The Werewolf's Fangs" are solid monster type stories, but the pick of the bunch? YOU, Roxanne. ALWAYS you! No love potion required HERE! |
