Everyone is astonished at Leslie’s transformation. Marianne admits she and Dan were just pretending to have a romance to make Leslie jealous enough to shed her tomboy image. |

Robbie is friendly but makes Jennifer nervous; she urges Dusty to send Robbie to an institution, or she’ll leave. When a tornado threatens the farm, Jennifer has to knock out a panicked Robbie in order to take him to safety in the storm cellar. Miraculously, the blow on his head brings Robbie back to normal. Jennifer and Dusty can now be happy. |
