H.C., E.C., and Holly Chambers were all the same artist: Ellis "Holly" Chambers. It is thought that "Pat Simon" was a pen name used by Chambers for his storywriting credits, for which he also used "Pat Adams", "Pat Stevens" and Pat Peters", while working for Victor Fox, to make it appear that Fox Features hsad a large production staff, but he also used those multiple writer aliases while working for Robert Farrell (Four Star Publishing), and Charlton. And he may have used a few while working for Holyoke, Jamboree, and Orbit, although it is not certain because many of those writing credits are missing.
