Amok is a strip by Antonio Canale (also known as Tony Chan) which has been printed in Italian and French. In Italy it was printed as a landscape comic first, like this Spanish edition, and then cut and pasted into portrait format.

Amok is indeed an Italian strip created in 1946 by writer Cesare Solini and drawn by Antonio Canale, under the pen name Tony Chan. It was re-printed in Italy as recently as 1978!
