Wow, Captain Science gets really atom bomb happy in this issue. |
|
Fun issue with two good Captain Science stories (though only a brief appearance by hot sidekick Luana, boo) and another hilariously hard-boiled story featuring sci-fi-fi detective Brant Craig, who is somehow irresistible to women in spite of his silly hat. But the real standout, buried in the back, is "World War III with the Ants," which has a great, grisly "Mars Attacks!" vibe. I'm probably wrong, but I could swear the art on "Ants" looks like Fiction House's fabulous Lily Renee. |

Oh, and I forgot to mention the classic bondage cover! |

If this title and its artists are talked about at all, then I’m sure Wally Wood and Joe Orlando would be the ones talked about the most. Tex Blaisdell also definitely deserves some praise though, if only for his art on the Spawn of Pathor story here. |
|
Great cover and I agree - gloriously art from Tex Blasidell - Page 5 goes straight on my wall of fame. |
