This book , along with the one shot "EERIE TALES" would have left me hankering for more issues during it's introduction. I really enjoyed the look and format of each. Too bad these were one-shots ! |
If this is, as the blurb says, and the creators and the production values make clear, from the same crew as gave us the EERIE one shot, that is HASTINGS ASSOCIATES, then that makes two publications and I suggest they should have their own listing. |
Taken from the crinkled raw scan so needs re-scanning ideally. I prefer the papery look but the edit isn't particularly harsh. Exactly the same applies to Eerie Tales. Shame they failed after ONE issue when there were hundreds of samey issues those b/w Mad imitations. Eye-catching covers so I can only assume that even five years on from the peak of the hysteria distributors and/or sellers wouldn't touch them (even though their kiddies could go to the cinema to watch horror films unlike in the U.K). P.S. I assume our ratings are for SCANS not comics? |

Great stuff--especially liking the clean, breezy, semi-gag idiom Tuska chose for his first story (I'm not even to the middle yet; no idea what's coming up). |
