Some good art (Fleishman, Feelings), some not so good (Trapani), some OK (Fodera). Tom Feelings later became an acclaimed African-American artist (well, he was always African-American, he got acclaimed later). Feelings and Fodera both had relatively brief comic book careers. |

Synopsis | Ruth leaves her boring hometown and boyfriend Homer for the big city, where Charley promises her “romance...excitement...success...” He gets Ruth an “audition” with a “movie producer,” but it’s a blackmail set-up. Charley says he’ll send Ruth’s parents photos of her assignation unless she plays along. Ruth spends time “in strange hotel rooms in the mad, sensuous embraces of strange men!” One day, Homer shows up as a “client”; he punches Charley and rescues Ruth. They go home, get married and have a child. |

Grace asks to be sent to Korea and Pete is assigned as her escort. He shows her how devastated the country is and how the Koreans are suffering; he introduces her to the soldiers as well. When Pete is reported to be wounded, Grace realizes she loves him. It was a hoax to break through her hardboiled shell. Grace and Pete embrace. |
