| Here is a truly freakish coincidence regarding the story Honeymoon Horror. After reading it this morning I started reading a story in a pulp crime reprint magazine called Verdict from July 1953, found at Internet Archive. SAME STORY. Revenge, by Samuel Blas. What are the odds of finding two versions of the same story on the same day in two randomly selected publications? I'd say a couple zillion to one. I see in the notes a history of the reappearances of this story in other forms, so here is another to add to it. Considering the timeframe, it is possible that the '53 printing in Verdict could be the source for this '54 version. |
