For a person who literally must have lived with music. A piano was built in England in 1886 that contained a bed, two cupboards, a writing desk, and a chest of drawers. The national pastime of Spain is, of course, bullfighting, and the Spanish are known to go to great lengths to keep the sport as exciting as they can. A curious example of this devotion to the sport is the clock in the tower church of San Cernin. It's impossible to see the clock, even though it chimes the hours faithfully. Why a hidden clock? Because it regulates the local bullfights, and the townspeople thought the bulls would become nervous if they could see what time they were due to enter the ring. Believe It or Not!
