I'm surprised the torture cover passed the Code.

I haave to wonder what the effect on a kid reading comics would have been to pick up TWO issues of ebook called Super Cat and finding not trace of Super Cat inside. Would it have driven the child mad? Would he or she have asked for their money back? Or did anybody read these books at all?
