Curious, I Googled B. Abas and learned that he was Ben Abas, the son of the publisher of these comics. That's probably how he got the job. He produced other popular Dutch comics and judging from some samples he got a lot better than he is in these Lex Brand books. Apparently not much is known about him. In the late 50s or early 60s he moved to Australia.
