This comic looks like a collection of whatever happened to be lying around. Old stuff, too, I'd wager. Is that what makes the armless, legless, hipless fellows in the rocket worried?

You're right, GCD says everything is a reprint, although the source of Whirlpool of Space is not currently known.
The last story is "introduced" by the unidentified Black Cobra although even this version was reprinted from yet another, earlier comic and the first version was introduced by Brenda Starr!
