"Les Contes du Far-West" had 98 issues from 12/1946 to 10/1948.

They crammed a lot of story into the eight pages. At an average of six panels per "regular" comic page this is the equivalent of a 22-23 page book! By Googling I learned that this series was originally published in Italy in 1948.
