Thanks very much, Lyons. I love the skill and style of the drawing and the colouring, too. It reminds me of my youth. I grew up in my grandparents' house, and they had a lot of books with coloured pen and ink illustrations from the late 1800s and early 1900s with illustrations drawn in that style. This was from 1919. I assume that it was used widely in Québec's elementary schools.
