NotesStory follows events that occurred in Konga # 7, July 1962. This issue was published between #8 (September 1962) and #9 (November 1962) of the ongoing Konga series. This spinoff series was renamed Konga's Revenge with #2 which was published Summer 1963. Tchaikon plans on creating a race of supermen to help the Soviet Union conquer the world, which is why he experiments on Konga to see if he can pull off cell growth. He is killed when the island he set his lab on is destroyed by earthquakes. Torga is incredibly violent and lacks the humanity of Konga. She is the one that destroys most of San Francisco while Konga was trying to stop her.
