This art is so much better than the previous issues. It seemed like they just didn't care, and were just hacking it out as quickly as possible. Terrible in the wrong way!

Ahhhh..Reptisaurus has his terrible-ness redeemed ! Back in the 60s , I bought every Charlton giant monster comic I could get my hands on. Reptilicus for some reason was especially a favorite among my buddies ( movie tie-in?). When Charlton revamped the title to Reptisaurus making the monster no more terrifying than Cecil The Sea Sick Sea Serpent , I was a bit put off but still bought every issue. When this issue hit the spinner rack I was ecstatic with Reptisaurus becoming fearsome looking again.

The monsters feed on elephants and crocodiles and build their nest. A scientist named Dr. Harden from London steals one egg and flees. Enraged, Reptisaurus attacks Katanga province disrupting tensions in the area between the U.N and the communists. NotesReptisaurus' appearance changes for this issue as now he looks more like a dragon and less like a flying serpent. He also has razor sharp teeth and a horn.

Reptisaurus' mate returns (she was not in the last two issues), but looks radically different. She now looks like a Pteranodon. She also lays eggs ignoring the fact that she had three babies in issue #3.

In one scene Reptisaurus has flashbacks to the prehistoric age and thinks about a Triceratops and a Tyrannosaurus while he's guarding his mate and her nest.

Text StoryDream of Destruction (2 pages)
SynopsisJohn Boyle relates the bafflingly prescient dream of Marjorie Randell. She dreamt that robbers were going to break into a bank. Authorities heeded her dream and found out that robbers were indeed attempting to tunnel into the bank vault.
