The lead story, about an unwed mother, is unusually frank, especially for ACG, whose books always had a certain air of gentility. Also unusual is that they the writer didn't cop out in the end and let Ellen get her baby back. Nice Rosenberger art.

The last 2 stories are in a faux "3D" format: panels have rounded edges and are printed against a black background. The art has lots of zipatone and the titles of the stories are done in the "depth" style.
