Can't find much on this. It was serialized in 'Famous Funnies' in 1934 but was called 'Flying to Fame or Slim and Tubby" by John Welch and Russell Ross. This is bylined 'Ernest Henderson'

This strip that we now have on CB+ would have been at the beginning of the run. apparently John Welsh and Russel Ross took it over and kept it going for a while.

Guess nobody in the Twenties had actual first names. Our heroes are Slim, Tubby and Curly. I was wondering why this was called "Flying to Fame" when they set off for South America on a boat, but after a short time they switch to an airplane.
