Nation-Wide's other "52 pages--all comics" titles also sold for a nickel. Maybe the publisher decided to lower the price after the book was ready to print, and he changed the front cover price but overlooked the back cover ad. It's a theory, anyway.

Interesting that Mazie ran thru 1954 for Nation-Wide and was then picked up by Harvey (who also published a spin-off, Flat-Top).

curious to see the difference on the art on these first issues, around Mazie #8 not only the style changed as the other characters got their own titles. The bigger changes seems to be on the Mortie and 'Flat-top' characters the later one named Jackson prior to the design change.
